A positive path for spiritual living

The LIGHT of Peace – Rev. Eileen Patra

Peace begins within.  But then what?  Simply feeling peace within does not automatically translate to peace in the world or peace in my day-to-day activities.  How does my ability to tune into the deep peace of my inner sanctuary translate to everyday life? How can this ability be a tool for activating peace in the world around us?  Let peace begin with us … and let the LIGHT of Peace be our guiding star.

The LIGHT of CHRIST-mas – Intergenerational Christmas Service – Rev. Eileen Patra & Unity of Livonia Youth Ministry

Individually expressing the LIGHT within we are bright and shinning stars. Together we are like the a thousand suns shining brightly, bringing warmth where there was cold, Light where there was darkness, direction where there was confusion. The Christ Light dwells in each of us and seeks to be born in a greater way as we recognize and celebrate the Light in one another.

Angels Among Us – Holiday Memorial Service – Rev. Eileen Patra

As loved ones take their place among the angels and enter into their next experience of Spirit, we may feel a sense of loss and wonder how to fill the hole that has appeared in our hearts.  At this meditative and interactive memorial service we will honor those who have transitioned this year and create a space in which we form new bonds that transcend the physical world.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service: The LIGHT of Deep Fulfillment -  – Rev. Eileen Patra; Soloist: Maggie Ferguson; Congregational Christmas Hymns

What legacy has Jesus left upon the earth? What will we, who come after him leave upon the earth.  The Nativity story is a celebration of Hope, Peace, Joy and Life born in the hearts of humankind. More, it is a call to be the LIGHT; to follow that inner Star that guides us to the place in mind that we are one with God.

Note: No Wednesday PM service on December 27th

New Year's Eve Burning Bowl Service - Free to BE the Light – Rev. Eileen Patra

As the year comes to a close, we often reflect on the wins and perceived losses of the year and what we would like to leave behind as we embark on a new year.  To be truly free and fully express the Light, what no longer serves us must be released.  The burning bowl ceremony assists us in creating a space in consciousness to be filled with thoughts born from a higher consciousness.
