How did it get to be almost mid-November already? I’m still adjusting to the time change and now celebrating those who bravely served our nation on this Veterans Day. I enjoyed sharing the stories of some veterans who are special to me during our Sunday service on 11/7/21. If you missed it, you can find it on our website, YouTube channel, or Facebook page. And, if you don’t follow us on YouTube or Facebook, please do. I share a nice reminder every weekday at 5 pm, live on Facebook, which is a recap of what we talked about in Morning Reflections. Oh, and if you haven’t joined me there yet, or it’s been a while, please consider joining us any weekday morning from 10 – 10:30 a.m. No commitment. No homework. No special training required. And, no reservation needed. How’s that for an easy “No”vember invitation? https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85016835315? Meeting #: 850 1683 5315 Password: reflection
Here’s another “no” to consider: Be present “No”W. (Okay, that was a stretch, but….) The days do seem to fly by and the holidays are upon us; it’s true. And right here, right now, in this moment…. THIS is where life is happening. This is where our power and our joy are. This is your life, now! Pause for a moment and breathe. Think about something to be grateful for. Put a smile on your face. Really. Right now. Smile. It will shift your energy.
Don’t wait for Thanksgiving. In each now moment, give thanks.
During the 6-week “Absolute Abundance” course that I just finished facilitating, one of our assignments was to send emails or notes to people for the sheer purpose of letting them know that we appreciated them and why. It was such a moving experience. And many who received our messages told us how it really meant a lot to them to be acknowledged. Perhaps you’ll choose to do this. It’s a beautiful expression of gratitude. And isn’t that what this month is all about; giving thanks?
Well according to a National Holidays website, November is about a lot more than that. It’s also National Banana Pudding Lovers’ Month, National Peanut Butter Lovers’ Month, Family Stories Month, National Lung Cancer Awareness Month, Military Family Month, and National Home Care and Hospice Month, and more. However you choose to spend the remained of this month, do so in a spirit of gratitude, finding joy in each now moment.
You are always in my prayers and I am here to serve.
In Peace, Joy, Love, and Gratitude,
